PN Hoffman Employees Participate in Mayor Fenty’s “Buff and Scrub” Initiative

On Saturday, August 11th, several employees from PN Hoffman, along with family, friends, and business partners, participated in Mayor Fenty’s Buff and Scrub Initiative by volunteering at Amidon Elementary School, located near the Southwest Waterfront. More than twenty volunteers landscaped and painted around the school, leaving behind a much improved setting for the children’s return this fall.

Mayor Fenty implemented the Buff and Scrub Initiative to make up for past neglect of public school facilities in the District. Through this initiative, companies are asked to donate in-kind construction or services to help improve the schools of our Nation’s Capital.
