Yes! Organic Market opens in Union Row retail space

Washington, DC: PN Hoffman announced today that Yes! Organic is now open for business in one of the six retail spaces on the first floor of the Company’s Union Row project, located in the U Street Corridor.

“Union Row is a key part of rejuvenating the U Street corridor. This mixed income development also helps preserve the neighborhood’s diversity,” said Councilmember Jim Graham (D-Ward One). “Yes! Organic responds in a high quality way to a long-standing community demand for additional grocery options.”

The store is over 5,000 square feet and is the fifth location for the DC-based grocer. There are several other retailers scheduled to open in the remaining retail spaces. Among the retailers are Eatonville restaurant, a drop-off dry cleaner, and CVS.

“We are very pleased to have Yes! Organic as a part of our building,” said Josh Dix, vice president of acquisitions and development at PN Hoffman. “It certainly fulfills a need for this area, and, along with our other prospective retailers, it will serve as a catalyst for further development in this vibrant neighborhood.”
